100% Acting & Drama Classes

At Theatre on Foot, we do things differently. Based in Aigburth, South Liverpool, our independent stage and screen acting school offers young performers a one-of-a-kind creative experience. Through theatre, film, and 100% acting classes (no singing or dancing), we help students develop confidence, imagination, and real performing and behind-the-scenes skills, both on stage and either side of the movie camera.

Original Plays Written Just For You

Every play, film, and immersive experience we create is originally written with our young actors in mind.

We believe both new and seasoned performers deserve their standout roles, which is why every Theatre on Foot production guarantees a major part for each actor. There are no boring ensemble roles here! Our focus is on giving young people, regardless of prior experience, the opportunity to shine, have fun, and grow while taking part in professional-level drama classes and performances taught by industry experts.

Perform In Unique Locations

We don’t just perform in traditional theatres. Theatre on Foot is renowned for bringing stories to life in unexpected locations across Merseyside. We’ve performed and filmed movies in underground tunnels, secret woodlands, historic churches, Georgian halls, hidden hideouts, and more. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to storytelling and love passing that experience on to our students, creating art and memories in spaces you won't forget.

Join Our Drama Classes

Beyond our stage and screen productions, we also offer weekly drama sessions just for fun. These sessions are designed to build confidence, boost self-esteem, encourage creativity, and let young performers explore the magical world of drama and storytelling. It’s a chance to make new friends, have a giggle, and express yourself.

Evening Acting Classes & Special Courses

As well as our weekly drama classes, we run Theatre & Film Summer Schools throughout July and August, an October Half Term Halloween Week, and host regular special events like Movie Nights, Fancy Dress Events, and Awards Evenings. We’re also available for hire for schools, colleges, and private events.
